The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

A limited edition of BMT's aluminum Monarch yo-yo. Identical in shape to BMT's Monarch in raw aluminum. Note the very unique spiral-cut hub nub.

Original product description from the Y4L website:
"Y4L is proud to introduce what we believe is the world's most limited yoyo! At least we can't find a more limited one! There are only 50 -- that's right only ONE per state -- of these blue anodized versions of the very popular BMT Monarch yoyo. We have commissioned only 50, and will NEVER have them printed again. Each has its own serial number (e.g. #2 of 50), and comes with a certificate of authenticity, and guarantee of production. It sports the new Y4L logo that can't be found anywhere else. These will ship in order, beginning with number four- so order early for the lowest numbers. Add a true collectible to your collection today! Introductory price is only $69.50, but will increase as they approach sell out. Don't miss 'em!"

Y4L.com was a late 1990s website out of Woodland, Texas that sold yo-yos. Y4L stood for "Yo-Yo For Less". Around 2012, Y4L.com became www.yoyoplay.com.

A hard-to-find edition of the Monarch.

"KCMO" is the location of manufacture for this yo-yo: Kansas City, Missouri.

Original retail price: $70 US.
