The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Bandai Hyper Yo-Yo pin.

Yutaka (a former company within Bandai until March, 2003), in conjunction with Bandai and Yomega, released a series of Hyper Yo-Yo collector pins. These pins further capitalized on the huge yo-yo boom that occurred in Japan between 1997-1999. Each pin featured the sidecap design of a popular Yomega yo-yo model. What Duncan was to American kids in the 1950s, Yomega was to Japanese kids in the late 20th century. The most popular Yomega models in Japan were the Fireball and Hyper Raider. Both yo-yo models are still manufactured today (2020) by Yomega.
