The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Vortex is the freshman looping yo-yo from Japan's YoYoJoker.

The Vortex uses a custom spacer made from duralumin. The spacer serves to unify the body design for the best performance, and ensures that the string gap remains constant. Because there are no special parts or yo-yo adjustments necessary to get great looping performance, this yo-yo is great for players who want to avoid having to constantly make modifications or tweaks. Although the looping feel can be adjusted using yo-yo maintenance oil. Uses a size K bearing, the same size used in YoYoFactory's Mighty Flea. Uses a starburst response.
