The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

This model--made for looping--is nearly identical to the Yomega Fireball in body shape, transaxle bearing system, and functionality.

The Hyper Dragoon PRO is supposed to be a variant of the Hyper Dragon yo-yos except that you didn't need a specialized tool to take apart the yo-yo. Instead, you simply unscrewed the halves from the axle. This functionality made the yo-yo much more usable compared to the Hyper Dragon yos. The gap on this model is narrow which means it is great for looping. It was also possible to exchange the transaxle bearing for a ball bearing from the Hyper Dragon series. The spacers on the yo-yo could also be removed to further customize the play of it.

This model, along with the Hyper Dragoon Standard were made "in-house" by Bandai, along with their Hyper Dragon series. Bandai's own yo-yos, along with many yo-yos that came from the U.S.A. and licensed by Bandai, were what fueled the explosive growth of yo-yo play in Japan in the late 1990s. Many of today's top yo-yo players in the world (as of 2016) are from Japan.

This model is uncommon and hard to find for a mass produced yo-yo.

Compare with Hyper Dragoon Standard.
