The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Bandai's "HyperCluster Bearing Set" released February 11, 2011.

This bearing set was among the first components released in the HyperCluster series. It contained a plastic bearing (PB), metal bearing (MB), plastic spacer set (S1), and a metal spacer set (S2). Ideally, you used the plastic components together with yo-yos intended for looping, and you used the metal components together with yo-yos intended for string tricks. This set was compatible with nearly all yo-yo sets in the HyperCluster series.

The HyperCluster series took the ease of yo-yo customization to a whole new level. The back of the package shows you other configurations you could build using compatible bodies, core parts, and bearings from other HyperCluster-series yo-yos.

Original retail price: $12 US.
