The Bootleg was Buzz-on's freshman release. The yo-yo was the result of David Bazan leaving Spintastics (yo-yo maker) and then going on to release his own yo-yos under the name "Buzz-On".

Nothing unique or unusual about this yo-yo. Supposedly not many were made of this first batch that came in either translucent red (shown), glow, or black. While exact production numbers are unknown, it is a very hard to find model nowadays. The Bootleg featured a bearing axle, friction disk response, take-apart design, custom metal weight rings. Also came in two different logo designs.

Collected February, 2003.
