The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Duncan Yo-Yo Champion award plaque from early 1980s. When I first saw these plaques I didn't believe they came from Duncan because they were so simple and homely looking. I actually thought they were fake. But, after some researching, I found out that's not the case.

What's interesting--and rather odd--is that this plaque was given to yo-yo contestants who came in third place. See the accompanying 1980 Duncan contest ad in this exhibit.
