Sponsors and Curators
The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!
If you're a manufacturer, or just a big collector and you want to help support the Museum drop me at line at chimera@yoyomuseum.com

From the Tom Kuhn website:
"Tom Kuhn Custom Yo-Yos [by way of BC/What's Next] is proud to offer this set of three inimitable, aluminum yo-yos that defined a product category for nearly three decades. The set highlights the 1984 - 2012 chronology of the legendary Silver Bullet's innovation, technology, design, and craftsmanship that forever changed the sport and art of yo-yo play and earned Tom the moniker, Father of the Modern Yo-Yo!"
The collector's set included the original Silver Bullet (middle in photo; the first high performance metal, fixed axle yo-yo model ever made), the infamous SB-2 (left in photo; the first mass produced ball bearing yo-yo ever made and based on the Tom Kuhn Turbo-Yo prototype), and the elusive SB-3 (right in photo; the first click-adjustable gap yo-yo).
The series is housed in a natural wooden display case (maple?) with a gloss lacquer finish, and lined in cloth. I presume the cases were made by wood craftsman Brad Countryman of BC/What's Next.
See additional exhibit photos of the wooden case with the lid closed and the history of the Silver Bullet that came with the package of three yo-yos.
An SB-3 owners manual was also included, but no extra strings, axles, Turbo Discs, or carrying pouches.
Original retail price: $500 US/$700 Japan.
