This string pack has no manufacturer printed on it. It was purchased on eBay about 3 or 4 years ago from a gentleman in the eastern U.S. He was selling the packs one at a time and made quite a lot of money on them. After some saturation, he began auctioning them in bulk for a lot less money. These still regularly surface on eBay more than 20 years after I purchased the pack in this exhibit. Never pay more than about $3 for one!

I have wondered if this brand was sold outside of the United States because of the "American Made" text at the bottom of the envelope. Most early string packs from other makers simply printed "Made in U.S.A.".

I have no idea about the date of this string pack and I question whether it is even vintage because as of July 2015, these string packs are as common to find as the mass-produced and highly over-rated, over-priced Gorham silver yo-yo. If these are genuine vintage string packs, based on the 3 strings for 5 cents designation, they are probably from the early to mid 1930s.
