The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Bronze award patches are much more common to find. According to the person that won this particular patch, he said, "As a kid, you never wanted to come in last place and so the [8 trick] patch never meant that much to me." The previous owner's memory may have been a bit foggy. This patch was more likely given as an award for successfully completing eight basic yo-yo tricks in front of a Duncan Yo-Yo professional demonstrator.

See also the Duncan 15 trick Silver Award patch, version 1 that has the same design theme as the patch in this exhibit.

Contrary to what others have claimed or visually depicted in auctions, these 8- and 15-trick award patches with this same design theme did not go with the Duncan chevron-shaped award patch set.
