The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Bandai 1999 Hyper Games Official Guide from Japan.

At the time, Hyper Games was a new generation of active toys that included Hyper Yo-Yo, Jitter Ring, and Hyper Diablo. There was also a certification system associated with these "high-bar" games. You could have your level judged and verified at any official Bandai certification store. With each earned level, you received some type of individual award such as a patch or sticker. Yomega's and Bandai's own Hyper Yo-Yo product line, as seen in the guide, were the popular products that fueled the yo-yo boom in Japan in the late 1990s.
