The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

A first version Yomega Raider with the wavy, curved "Raider" imprint. For some reason, these first versions are quite hard to find nowadays. Note the internal cross-bar ribs – a distinguishing feature of early Yomega yo-yos. The Raider was identical to the Yomega Fireball but with a size E ball bearing axle instead of a plastic transaxle. Response was a starburst configuration.

These appeared in yo-yo catalogs from 1993 to about the end of 1996 and beginning of 1997.

See also its accompanying Yomega Raider-branded yo-yo holster.

Original retail price: $25 US.
