Sponsors and Curators
The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Orange and blue laminated wood. Clear coat finish. Comes with extra string and a dark green velour pouch.

Compare with Apollo Pro - No. 28, version 1 from 1995.

A downside to some BC/What's Next-era yo-yos is that the clear coat eventually begins to show a web of micro-cracks--also known as checking. See the close-up picture. This effect is often caused by a variety of reasons such as excessive heat or humidity during initial application and curing of the clear coat. Or, applying too much clear coat too quickly. Whether the checking becomes more severe over time is unknown.

Original retail price: $11 US.
