No Jive Specials are just as advertised, a special edition release of the famous No Jive from Tom Kuhn Yo-Yos. This release was one of two specials made with unique dyed and laminated woods. And these two models were the first ever laminated wood No Jives. These laminates created dazzling wood finishes, stabilized the wood, but also added weight. Notice the friction stickers, needed because of the additional weight.

To make things more interesting for collectors, the logos on these came in different foil colors. I have seen purple, blue, and rainbow impressed foil logos on these, and each color creates a unique appearance.
